Some shots I took with my camera phone in 2011. Scrolling through the 560+ photos I took on my iphone for 2011 I chose these to share.

Enjoy and have a safe and Happy New Year.

Running Santa's

During a recent race, "Santas" were out in full force getting ready for "their" big day. There were all sorts of Santas dashing to the finish line. In some cases, you couldn't see their faces.

Other Santas were running so hard that their hats and beards came off.

Some walked briskly (also known as a slight jog), and seemed to be enjoying every step of the way.

There were, of course, female Santa's too (notice she is beating another Santa?)

Near the end of the pack, was Santa and all his reindeer.

Merry Christmas to everyone, and may Santa treat you to all your wishes this year!

Sometimes all you'll get is a test shot...

I'm setting up a single light. I haven't taken a light reading yet, and just fire off a shot to see what it looks like. Well here's what it looks like. And after this test shot, that's the only shot Emmy would let me get with her and her sister together -- but it all worked out in the end.

I have been photographing Ashley and her little sister Emmy since they both had their first birthday parties (Ashley is nearly seven years old).

It's one thing to see your own kids grow up. You watch them change and mature, but it seems gradual because you're always around them. But it's quite another to see someone else's. Always amazing how big someone has gotten since the last time you saw them.

Emmy wouldn't put down the lollipop, but with a face like this, it doesn't matter. It works anyway.

With Thanksgiving around the corner, I am thankful for my wife and two girls, and after nearly 20 years of taking pictures for a living I'm thankful that I still love what I do.

I'm especially thankful for all of my clients--from my corporate accounts to the weekend runner.
